The RNA-Xtrac Viral Kit is a specialized kit for isolating total RNA from virus-containing liquid samples using spin columns.
Isolating 24 samples takes about 40 minutes. The hands-on time in this case is approximately 23 minutes.
The RNA-Xtrac Viral kit is easy to use; the reagents do not require the addition of ethanol, and all components are stored at room temperature. The kit includes tubes for stabilizing RNA prior to electrophoresis, in case a spike-in control for RNA integrity is to be used in the experiment.
The package is designed for 100 allocations, which significantly reduces the cost per allocation compared to similar products from other countries.
